2020
Initial Ideation & Founders
NARU originated in 2020 for the AIESEC student club at The University of Melbourne during the covid-19 pandemic.
Launched an MVP in 6 weeks for 20 testers from AISEC student club.
2021
Testing the Australian Market
Conducted extensive surveys and interviews with 50+ Gen Z social-media users in Australia.
Internal app testing with 3 focus groups, gaining interest of students and fresh graduates.
2022
First Community partnership
Shifting our perspective to wider communities, we partnered with Uncommon Collective.
This allowed us to focus on founders & creatives in the Australian start-up ecosystem.
2023
Beta-testing with UC Community
In collaboration with UC, we designed features for communities within the NARU's platform.
We ran two successful beta-testing cohorts with NPS score of 8.75 from 20 unique testers.
2024
Public Launch of UC on NARU app
Establish NARU as the new-generation social platform to empower human impact.
Launch and onboard Uncommon Collective community on the NARU platform.
2025
Build for One, Build for All Communities
Build NARU's community dashboard to allow communities to flourish and grow on NARU.
Continue to parter with early communities and create unique member experiences.
